Kailah and Elyin's wedding festival

Prelude

Based in Shadowdale in the Forgotten Realms, you are a small and recently formed unit of novice Harper field agents on your first solo mission. This is your first time working together. As a member of the secretive Harpers, you are individuals dedicated to battling evil, discovering and preserving forgotten lore, and maintaining the balance between nature and civilization.

These are your written orders, issued directly by your Captain Storm Silverhand:

"You are to deliver this package to my niece, Kailah Silverhand in Moonrise Hill before her impending wedding. It is of the utmost urgency that you deliver your missive to Kailah before the afternoon of the 15th of Kythorn. Enclosed is a wedding present - an ancient and irreplaceable family heirloom. Kailah knows I am regretfully unable to attend the wedding, as I have pressing problems with the Zhentarim at the moment. Delivering this heirloom, however, is no mere errand. There have been recent reports of attacks on fey creatures in the area, and there may be some greater evil at work there. Considering the increased Zhentarim presence elsewhere, this may be another of their unfolding plots. Posing as my emissaries, your orders are to use the wedding as cover to gather intelligence and eliminate threats to the greater good, following the Harper tenants of justice. We are counting on you. Good hunting. Storm Silverhand."

You begin the adventure on the outskirts of Moonrise Hill. It is a sleepy hamlet and you have heard this is a small and closely-knit community of mostly humans and elves, who famously live in houses artfully intertwined in the high branches of great oak trees.

Today is the late morning of the 15th and Moonrise Hill is just up ahead. It is the Time of Flowers, and the air is warm and abuzz with honey bees.
